BEAVERCREEK -- We are hearing some different voices speaking out about the deadly police shooting that happened earlier this month at the Beavercreek Walmart. There were at least 200 people who gathered to support their police department who cannot talk about this case. Many of them had signs to show the department that they are not alone. We first told you about their efforts on Thursday, after a Facebook page was made in support of the department. "I'm really pleasantly surprised - I didn't really expect anything this big. Really when I started this I expected a page and some people to make comments at the page then we decided to do the event. I'm happy with the turnout," said Mike Crain who started the page. It now has more than 3,400 followers. The supporters came from all over the area. "When that officer pulled the trigger, he didn't see a black man, he saw a black rifle and his training taught him to diffuse the situation," said John Ward, a local supporter. A man showed up at the rally with a mask over his face asking the supporters why they are afraid of the truth. The man who wished to remain unidentified filmed the supporters while asking questions. He says he's with a group called CopBlock.
