One Last Beautiful Week - PCT Week 18

One Last Beautiful Week - PCT Week 18

Washington continues to wow us in week 18 of our PCT thru hike. From awesome trail magic to glacial views of Mt. Rainier, we make our way into Snoqualmie Pass and enjoy a stay at the Washington Alpine Club. We make our first detour to avoid the fire alert from the PCTA/forest rangers out of Snoqualmie and follow the old PCT over Red Pass and through Dutch Miller gap. The smoke starts to roll in as we arrive at Stevens Pass and we decide to zero in Leavenworth. Little do we know that this will be our last full week on trail. Stay tuned next week for the sad conclusion to our hike Join us on our adventure exploring the epic Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). The PCT is an end to end trail which we will be thru-hiking for the next few months northbound. It starts on the border of Mexico and California and ends after roughly 2650 miles on the border of Washington and Canada.
