Krishnan Guru-Murthy, the Channel 4 News presenter, called Steve Baker a “c---” on Wednesday night. The veteran broadcaster had been grilling the Tory minister following Suella Braverman’s resignation as home secretary earlier in the day. A clip later appeared online, not from Channel 4’s broadcast, but taken from a live feed of Downing Street where he had been conducting the interview.
