Guided Meditation for Loss and Healing: Trying Again After Loss | Expectful

When you're trying to conceive after loss, your mind and body can experience a multitude of emotions and sensations. This guided meditation will lead you through a journey of hopefulness that will open your heart and soothe your healing womb. Transcript: Hello and welcome. If you're here, you may be looking for support in preparing to conceive after pregnancy loss by taking the time you need during this meditation. You are already acknowledging the uncertainties of trying again with an open heart, perhaps choosing to welcome a hopeful mindset as you offer compassion towards yourself and your past experience. Beginning by finding a comfortable posture, and as you arrive here, allow your eyes to close. And your breath to soften, bringing your awareness to your body and visualizing it as deeply relaxed in the space you are in. Noticing your body loosening With each breath, widening and opening your awareness with the rise and fall of your inhales and exhales. Perhaps experiencing this as a sacred time for you to just be with yourself. Gently guiding your awareness back into your body, tuning into your own healing process as it unfolds. Honoring whatever else you may feel in this moment as you breathe into the spaciousness within you, and offer yourself the support you deserve. As you honor your decision to try again, it can be helpful to first acknowledge any emotions as normal. Recognizing that what happened in the past does not determine your future, and allowing yourself to find comfort in knowing you are not alone on your conception journey. Many women go on to have healthy pregnancies after loss, and perhaps taking this moment to imagine yourself as one of them. Part of this tribe of women who have walked this path, been in these shoes and navigating the ebbs and flows of womanhood together. Knowing this, invite patience and kindness into your healing heart. Visualizing your body as a healthy vessel of love, letting go of the need to rush or control your process, and sensing your entire being as ready and open being in this expanding awareness. Ask yourself, what would it feel like to invite trust into my heart? To trust my body, myself, and my journey. Allowing whatever arises here to be as you feel, listen and soften into this moment. Lingering in this awareness for a few moments. Continuing to expand and connect with your heart. Guiding your awareness back into your heart. Imagining now that you could sense the arrival of your baby. Sharing this safe space with them as though you can feel them near sensing a loving bond, bringing you closer together with each breath. Nothing to be said or explained, just allowing this visualization of welcoming your future baby to be in your awareness. As you settle into this place of unconditional love for yourself and your journey. Bringing your attention back to your body and the space you're in, feeling each in breath and each out breath moving through you.
