E192 - Roz’s Moto Adventure Ride Australia - NT, Finke racers, Maryvale Station, Chambers Pillar

Sunday 23/5/2021: Episode 192 vlog takes me up to day 342 of my year long adventure ride around Australia & I’m in the Northern Territory having just completed 130km’s of the Finke Track & Old Ghan Rail Heritage Trail of horror! 🥵😂👍🏁🏍💨 I wake up refreshed & pumped after yesterday’s achievement of coming out of the trail alive & upright!🤞😂🍀 I pack up my wild camp at Rodinga Siding but do the 100m sprint down to the track several times to see bikes doing their pre-start practice on the Finke Desert Race track! It was wicked to watch! I finally take off and head across to Maryvale Road to the Maryvale Station! Great people & GREAT food! After a 2 hour rest whilst uploading 3 vids, I start to make my way down to Chambers Pillar. More than several people along the way had said it’s a must do! So do it I must! And it’s fair to say it wasn’t an easy 42km track to ride! It had that red pink jelly crystal sand that’s slippery as with rocks, ruts & creek crossings to add to the challenge! So I make it through right up until the last gate! As you all know me by now...short legs, slow & deep sand don’t go so well together! So Artemis has a little rest whilst I unlock the last gate! Urgh! You know my saying...the hardest roads lead to the most magical places! Just wow! It’s always an adventure...carry on! 😂👍🏁⛺️🏍💨
