Final Fantasy XV [PS4] Playthrough #051, Quetzalcoatl; Ch. 8 Start: A Precious Source of Power

For the quest "Party of Three", they teamed up with Aranea. They explored the first three floors of Steyliff Grove and began exploring the dungeon's fourth floor. Now, they will finish exploring this intriguing place. After resuming, they continue exploring the fourth floor of Steyliff Grove. In the southwest of the floor, they will find Liches. In the south, they take a stairway down to the fifth floor (time 5:30). The southern room of the fifth floor contains some helpful elemental deposits. In a small southeastern room past the fire deposit, they find Oracle Ascension Coin #024 (time 7:13). To the north, the party finds the boss room (time 7:44). The big nasty is a Quetzalcoatl. It resists lightning but is weak to ice. It is also weak to spears and daggers. Look out for it to spit balls of lightning at the party. On the corridor to the north, the party finds the Mythril Ore (time 10:51). Now that they have this, they can leave the dungeon. Aranea will also speak more about the empire's activities. It's a bit disturbing. The party declines the option to return to the entrance. They also find a food spot that yields Allural Shallots (time 11:53). Through a hole in the wall to the north, the party finds another mysterious locked door (time 13:03). Then, the party backtracks through the dungeon. They go upstairs to the fourth floor (time 14:10). They continue up to the third floor (time 15:22). They next return to the second floor (time 16:28). They finally return to the first floor (time 16:58). In the middle of the floor, acollapsed ceiling suddenly uncollapses, so the party can explore to the north (time 18:17). In the northern part of the semicircular area, they find a Phoenix Down (time 18:41). At the northern end, they find a so-called Kinetic Cube (time 18:51). When they examine this, it serves as a lift and takes them down to a small area on the fourth floor. There is a treasure here, but there are also an Iron Giant and Liches. After clearing out the enemies, the party finds a Sapphire Bracelet (time 21:23). This increases its wearer's Strength by 45. They use the Kinetic Cube to go back up to the first floor (time 21:44). In the eastern room in the southeast, they can now pick up a Megalixir (time 22:30). Finally, they head out of Steyliff Grove (time 23:29). Note that if it is daytime, they can use the Warp Tile to get out. They leave the grounds of Steyliff Grove (time 24:08). Aranea leaves the party. Now, the party must return to Lestallum, but Aranea will help with that. To the east, the party talks to Aranea (time 25:58). They agree to ship out to Lestallum. "Party of Three" complete! The party earns 3,000 EXP apiece. The player earns the trophy "Party of Three" for completing Chapter 7. Then, Chapter 8: Departure begins (time 27:25). Aranea drops them off in Lestallum, but it sounds like there is trouble brewing. We rejoin the party at EXINERIS Power Plant in Lestallum (time 28:22). The quest "A Precious Source of Power" begins. Noctis must clear out some daemons threatening the power plant. Noctis heads forward into EXINERIS Power Plant (time 29:21). After a short walk, he meets his partner in this venture, a hunter with a familiar voice (time 29:50). After going inside, Noctis finds a Silver Bangle (time 30:28). A scene takes place inside (time 30:38). Goblins and Garchimaceras appear. Not too hard to beat. Afterwards, there is another enemy encounter (time 31:30). Noctis and his fellow hunter have five minutes to defeat all the targets. Is that meant to be a challenge? Once all the enemies are down, they are free to leave the power plant (time 32:31). They leave the power plant (time 33:52). "A Precious Source of Power" complete! The active party earns 500 EXP apiece and a Mythril Component. A scene takes place outside the power plant (time 34:07). Gladiolus rejoins the party. Iris catches up to them. The story quest "Brave New World" begins. The party can now board the boat from Cape Caem. However, this is an excellent time for sidequesting. As the party approaches the Cup Noodles truck, Gladio issues the quest "A Need for Noodles" (time 36:50). He wants to stop by the Noodle Wagon. The description is continued in the comments.
