This strong tropical wave off of the coast of Africa will continue to move across the Atlantic toward the Caribbean. By next early next week, it will be near the Eastern Caribbean and it could bring areas of heavy rain. Over the next few days, it will continue to battle dry air, Saharan Dust, and even some wind shear. That's a good thing! That will prevent this thing from spinning up quickly into a hurricane, like the American Model was showing a few days ago. In the North Atlantic, Tropical Storm Don will spin over the open waters. Early next week, it will lose tropical characteristics, and weaken in cooler water. We are about to get into the busiest 3 months of the Hurricane Season.
