US INVESTIGATES AIR STRIKES The U.S. military has announced it would be looking into a Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claim that at least 52 civilians were killed in U.S.-led airstrikes near the Syrian border town of Kobane. SOHR said the U.S. strikes killed civilians in its campaign against ISIS. The U.S. air raids also killed 7 armed men belonging to groups fighting against ISIS and Assad regime forces. BALTIMORE CURFEW PROTESTED Hundreds of protesters have broken Baltimore’s curfew. Several were arrested the day after Baltimore’s chief prosecutor filed criminal charges against six police officers. The officers were involved in the death of a black man, Freddie Gray. Gray died after suffering spinal injuries in police custody. U.S. President Barack Obama commented on the case, stating that it was vital for the truth to come out. MAYWEATHER MATCH In an unanimous decision, American Floyd Mayweather Junior has won his much-hyped match against Filipino Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather’s record is now 48 - zero. He has said his next fight in September will be his last before he retires. 16 thousand 8 hundred spectators watched the match in MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The matched had been dubbed the "Fight of the Century." The total revenue from the fight could reach 4 hundred million dollars, with 3 million pay-per-view purchases worldwide. LINKEDIN STOCKS DOWN Social networking site LinkedIn’s shares dropped twenty percent on Friday. Shares dropped to 2 hundred dollars from a record high of $276.17 in late February. The firm dropped its yearly forecast and reported its slowest quarterly growth one day earlier. LinkedIn cited a delay in revenue from lynda.com, the online education company it agreed to buy last month, for the drop in revenue and growth.
