Making Double Oat Lavender & Rose Geranium Cold Process Soaps | New Oat Milk Recipe - Dawn Organics
Hello again everyone, today we’ll be making some Double Oat soap bars scented with Lavender & Rose Geranium Essential Oils. It is a 3-Colour swirl of a neutral white kaolin clay base plus Pink & Purple clays. The citric acid slowed down trace a little, however still a fast-moving recipe because of the rose geranium I did things a little different for this batch regarding the oat milk. It is a concentrated blend as I’m having to do it differently because of the heat from the citric acid. Refer to pot phase below to see how I did it. I decided to cut these bars tall & skinny I really love the way they look and feel when using them in the shower. Very easy to hold! Ultra-Concentrated 500g distilled water, 250g organic oats. Blend and squeeze as much as you can out. Freeze them in ice cube trays. Very easy and convenient. You can also save the pressed oats and freeze them in an airtight container and use a little in the pot phase. Blend all together well before adding the lye water.
