The United Nation's Economic Commission for Africa, in partnership with the government of the Republic of Congo, has launched Africa's first Artificial Intelligence research center in the capital city of Brazzaville. This comes after a partnership agreement to develop the project was signed in March 2021, during the official opening ceremony of the 7th session of the African Regional Forum on Sustainable Development.
