Welcome to a busy Monday in my life as a mechanical engineering student! 📚 Today started off with some study time for my lab, including a pre-lab quiz, followed by an online lecture. Then, I headed to my lab where we conducted an efficiency test on a turbine originally used in a 1960s paper mill. After a quick lunch break, I attended a lecture for my polymers course, then switched gears for a Spanish lesson. In my measurements lab, I tested the reaction time of a type E thermocouple for temperature measurement in varying conditions. To wrap up, I hit the campus maker space to design a few parts for my senior design thesis before heading home to cook dinner and unwind with some basketball. Join me to see what a packed day in mechanical engineering looks like! 🔧💻
