Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, said she will continue fighting corruption even though she is being smeared, and has been removed from her post in Ukraine. “Are the president’s smears going to stop you from fighting corruption?” Swalwell asked during a public hearing in the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. Trump tweeted earlier in the day, while the House testimony was ongoing, that Yovanovitch “turned bad.” “I will continue with my work,” Yovanovitch said.
