Here is my Version of easy prawn and Chicken Mix biryani recipe, This is very simple and easy prawns and chicken mix biryani recipe in pressure cooker. WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR 5 SERVINGS:- The rice:- • 2 glass of uncooked basmati rice, rinsed and drained • 4 cups of water (to cook the rice) • 1 tsp salt (to cook the rice) • Equipment: rice cooker Ingredients:- • 3 tbsps cooking oil (I used canola oil) • 300g (11 ounces) medium onions (about 2 medium sized onions) , peeled & thinly sliced • ½ KG Prawns and 750 grams of chicken, • 3 to 4 fresh tomatoes (about 300g/11 ounces), roughly diced • 32.5g (1 ounce) Biryani Spice Mix (see Note 2) • 2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste – I used the store bought version • 1 cup plain yoghurt • 1 cup water • 3 table spoon of chilly powder • 3 table spoon of biryani masala • 6 cloves of lavang • 5 cloves of elaichi • 4 small pieces of cinnamon • 2 starnees • Chopped coriander Marinate : 1. Marinate the chicken and prawns with one cup of curd, 1 lime, Ginger and garlic past, chilli powder and biryani masala for 20 mins. Preperation • Add 3 table spoon of cooking oil and heat it • Add the lavang, elaichi, cinnamon and starnees and fry it for 30 secs • add the chopped onion and fry it Until golden brown. • Add the Marinated chicken, chopped tomato and chopped coriander and pressure cook it until 2 whistle in the cooker • Add the rice and water ( ratio of rice and water =1 glass rice : 2 glass water) • Add salt as per your requirement ( recommend to add 1 tsp) • Pressure cook until one whistle and stop the heat, let the cooker release the pressure by it self, Easy cooker biryani is ready to serve. Add ritha to make it more flavour full Ritha preparation : 1. 100 ml curd, chopped onion, chopped coriander, chopped chilly and pinch of salt.
