German Chancellor Merkel speaks over plane crash

German Chancellor Angela Merkel delivers a statement over the crash of the Airbus A320 plane flown by low-budget airline Germanwings over the French Alps in southern France, at the Chancellory in Berlin, Germany, on March 24, 2015. Merkel said that she phoned French President Francois Hollande and Spain’s Rajoy, and they agreed to closely cooperate to find out the cause of the crash.
