Mexico to extradite drug lord El Chapo

The Mexican government is considering a request to extradite fugitive drug lord Joaquin Guzman, better known as El Chapo, to the United States. Following his recapture by Mexican marines on Friday, authorities have said they will work fast to establish the path to extradite El Chapo by mid this year. El Chapo is wanted by the United States for several drug related and criminal charges.
