Libyan coastguard accused of threatening German rescue ship

The International Organisation for Migration says more than 1,000 people have drowned making the perilous trip across the Mediterranean from Libya to Europe this year. But the dangers of the journey aren't the only challenge migrants face. The captain of the German humanitarian ship The Lifeline claims the Libyan coastguard threatened to kill him and his crew.
