Libyan coast guards rescue 150 migrants en route to Europe - Daily Mail

Naval vessels from Ireland and Italy have rescued hundreds of migrants from boats in the Mediterranean, including the LE Eithne whose crew saved hundreds. The Irish crew located a boat with 113 people on board, including the tiny baby, about 25 miles north of Tripoli, Libya yesterday. The naval vessel also rescued 310 people, including 39 children, who were on a barge about 30 miles north of the Libyan coast today, the Irish Defence Forces said.
