Darkest Dungeon Let's Roll Play Part 77 - Plan A

2:34 Tales of the previous foray into the Cove were spreading like wildfire throughout the Estate. Craon was not particularly interested in dying, but he was interested in gold. Sometimes greed wins. 6:45 Like a demonic school of fish, the Pelagic Groupers came out them in a flurry. Thankfully shooting fish in a barrel couldn't be easier. 10:23 A certain inteligence was seen in these new nightmares, not yet encountered in other areas. They work together, making each one stronger than the sum of their parts. 11:58 The fish idol was too well crafted to have been a hasty construction. How long had these creatures been down here? Their mind-bending sculptures could not be tolerated by Craon, who allowed his rage to overwhelm him as he took a shovel to the bas-relief. 20:48 Much was learned about the Cove from this expedition. The only lesson previously taken back being how to die in it. Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic roguelike RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring in which you will lead a band of heroes on a perilous side-scrolling descent, dealing with a prodigious number of threats to their bodily health, and worse, a relentless assault on their mental fortitude! Five hundred feet below the earth you will not only fight unimaginable foes, but famine, disease, and the stress of the ever-encroaching dark. Darkest Dungeon focuses on the humanity and psychological vulnerability of the heroes and asks: What emotional toll does a life of adventure take? Darkest Dungeon's development began in May 2013 and the game was formally announced with the "Terror and Madness" trailer in October 2013. A successful Kickstarter campaign was run in February 2014, earning over $313,337 from approximately 10,000 backers. Darkest Dungeon was first exhibited to the public at PAX East and then PAX Prime 2014. Early Access was released on Steam on Feb 3rd, where it remained #1 worldwide top seller for 7 days. Full PC/Mac release is targeted for October 2015, with PS4 and Vita confirmed to follow. Original score by Stuart Chatwood, composer for eight "Prince of Persia" games and founding member of multi-platinum Canadian rock band "The Tea Party."
