Darkest Dungeon Let's Roll Play Part 76 - The Cove Update: Those From Below

3:43 The path to shore of the Cove had now been cleared. Villon was determined to lead the Tip of the Spear into mouth of the cave. She would claim fame or she would claim death. 4:17 Surprised by their first encounter with the Pelagic fish people that have taken the coves, the heroes could do nothing at first except stand aghast. 7:51 The Coral along the shoreline had become as corrupted as the fish. Growing and storing energy from the beyond. 14:07 Slowly...gently...this is how a life is taken. The Drowned Sacrifice was a living, breathing weapon. Although why it still drew breath was anyone's guess. 16:30 The enemy was surprised, but much like a cornered animal it was most dangerous when its back was against the wall. 23:12 Fighting on in the name of the leader, the remaining members of the adventuring party fight valiantly for their lives, but without the ferocity of Villon spearing them forward, their will broken, they turned back. Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic roguelike RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring in which you will lead a band of heroes on a perilous side-scrolling descent, dealing with a prodigious number of threats to their bodily health, and worse, a relentless assault on their mental fortitude! Five hundred feet below the earth you will not only fight unimaginable foes, but famine, disease, and the stress of the ever-encroaching dark. Darkest Dungeon focuses on the humanity and psychological vulnerability of the heroes and asks: What emotional toll does a life of adventure take? Darkest Dungeon's development began in May 2013 and the game was formally announced with the "Terror and Madness" trailer in October 2013. A successful Kickstarter campaign was run in February 2014, earning over $313,337 from approximately 10,000 backers. Darkest Dungeon was first exhibited to the public at PAX East and then PAX Prime 2014. Early Access was released on Steam on Feb 3rd, where it remained #1 worldwide top seller for 7 days. Full PC/Mac release is targeted for October 2015, with PS4 and Vita confirmed to follow. Original score by Stuart Chatwood, composer for eight "Prince of Persia" games and founding member of multi-platinum Canadian rock band "The Tea Party."
