Two adults, five kids escape burning West Price Hill home

WEST PRICE HILL, Ohio (WKRC) -- A family of seven escaped a burning home in West Price Hill early Thursday morning.Firefighters say the fire started in the basement of the home on Francis Avenue near Trenton Avenue at 3 a.m. It quickly spread up through the first and second floors. A smoke detector alerted those inside at the time. It's unclear what exactly sparked fire. Damage is estimated at $15,000.
