Flames Sparked in Second-Floor Kitchen Cause Fire Investigation

EAST PRICE HILL, Ohio (WKRC) -- The cause of a fire in East Price Hill is under investigation Thursday night. Crews were called to a two-family home on Kirbert Avenue off West Eighth Street shortly after 6p.m. When firefighters arrived they found flames coming from the second floor. That's where they say the fire started in a kitchen. No one was home at the time so investigators do not think the fire is related to cooking. One dog died in the fire.Local 12 is told the residents of the second floor will not be able to stay there tonight.
