Wacha last start was against these same Dodgers just less than a week ago where the Cardinals won, 4-1 and beat Maeda. The two will match up again. St. Louis scored early and was able to shutdown the Dodger in a quick matter only giving up the one run, which was scored by Grandal on a solo HR. Game 2 will have Cardinals’ Ace, Carlos Martinez; 9-0, 118 strikeouts, 70 innings and an ERA of 1.03 Martinez last start was against the Dodgers in the final game of the series where the Cards won a close one 2-1.
