Healing of Chronic Sickness - Asthma Healed | Neil Vorster

If you are a christian battling a chronic illness like asthma, diabetes, etc then this message is for you . (By Chronic, illness I mean that it has been diagnosed by a doctor as a permanent condition that you merely treat symptoms with medication ) This is my story of how I have been healed from asthma on 9 January 2020. I have been a Christian for about 30 years and have been prayed for countless times. As a fairly new Christian I experienced healing from asthma but the disease came back and despite being prayed for many times, I could not shake it. I eventually concluded that I was going to live with it forever and medicate to cope with the symptoms. A few months ago by God’s grace, Jesus spoke to me clearly in a dream and then I came across Kenneth Hagin ( Snr)’d teaching about healing, and the penny dropped. I had been hoping to be healed all these years, and I now discovered that healing was a simple matter of faith based on the truth. I knew the truth, that all sickness is a work of the devil ( and whether he does it be disease or demons is irrelevant) and that Jesus body was beaten and bruised and ripped apart for my healing. What I hadn’t realised is how faith worked. Jesus made is clear how faith worked in Mark 11 vs 23- 24. You needed to believe with your heart and then confess with your mouth. Then hold on to your confession until though faith and patience you inherit the promise of healing. Salvation works the same way, according to Romans 10 : 9 -10 …. if you believe in your heart and then confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ Is Lord , then you will be saved I realised that the way Jesus taught faith, you had to ask for healing, believe that you received it ( because of the promise in scripture) …and only then will you have it. Even if the healing isn’t experienced instantly, I had to hold on to my confession of the truth, that by His stripes I was healed. I had to believe it and then say it, and then wait for the promise and not waiver. Abraham is our example of this. The next thing I had to know was that when a demon is expelled, it leaves and then comes back to re-inflict you and take you back into bondage of illness again. I had to be ready for the counter attack. In the past when I had been prayed for and experienced healing, at the first sign of a counter attack, I thought… oh no, I was mistaken, I wasn’t healed after all. So I believed that I wasn’t healed, said so with my mouth and guess what, I had it again. On 9 January this year, while feeding my cats, I thought, “ I really believe that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. So I simply said so with my mouth, and went about my business as usual. That night I reached for my asthma medication, and thought, “If I am healed, why should I take this” so I didn’t. And the same thing the next morning. I simply stopped my medication and carried on with life without any asthmatic symptoms. I was elated. Then a few days or a week later I experienced an asthmatic attack. I was ready for it and simply made it quite clear to the devil that he was mistaken and that I had already been healed 200 years before. I simply proclaimed that by the stripes of Jesus I had been healed. And then I commanded him to leave me alone and the asthmatic symptoms left almost immediately. Since then I have been attacked almost every day, and I do the same thing and it works. I know that if I resist the devil he will flee from me, and he does.
