HOW TO MEASURE THE IDEAL LENGTH FOR YOUR LIMM JUMP ROPE The first thing you need to do is get your Limm jump rope. Once you have it, hold both ends so that they are at an equal height with the rope hanging down in between. Then hold down the rope by stepping on the middle of it. Next, pull both handles higher so that the rope gets taut. If the rope then exceeds the height of your shoulders it is recommended that it be shortened. FIRST STEPS: MEASUREMENT As the ideal length varies from person to person, here are some tips to help you determine what the ideal length is for you: A - For beginners, the top of the handles should reach the top of your shoulders. B - For experienced jumpers, the top of the handles should reach the armpit or below. C - For double unders, the top of the handles should reach the nipple line. Once you have decided what style suits you best, you can proceed to marking the right spot to cut your rope at. Raise one of the handles to the height you wish to have. Then, while stepping on the middle of the rope and not moving the first handle, raise the other handle until the rope is taut again. Now, you can mark the spot on the longer end at the desired length. You are now ready for the final steps of adjusting your rope.
