25th anniversary of the assassination of Chris Hani

Today marks 25 years since Chris Hani was assassinated outside his home in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg. To commemorate this historic period of our history, a number of events have been planned to honour and celebrate his life. At the time of his assassination on 10 April 1993, Hani was the General-Secretary of the SACP and a member of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress.
