Today marks the 25th anniversary of the assassination of iconic struggle icon Chris Hani. Second to former president Nelson Mandela, Hani was the leader of the South African Communist Party and chief of staff of uMkhonto we Sizwe, the armed wing of the African National Congress. He was gunned down outside his home in Dawn Park, Boksburg on April 10, 1993. Chris Hani would have celebrated his 76th birthday in June this year. Subscribe to News24: / news24video
