Ottawa Storm ‘Derecho’ - Paul Anka Drive, May 21, 2022

This Video includes 2 short videos of less than 2 minutes each playing back-to-back followed by images of some of the aftermath around our neighbourhood caused by the intense storm that lasted for about 10-15 minutes. The video cameras are inside the house recording through windows, recording both Eastward (Frontyard looking onto Paul Anka Drive) and Westward (Backyard). We lost power at ~3:50pm so the cameras only recorded the first minute or so of the storm but this is where most of the trees fell around our house/neighbourhood. The wifi/internet connection started to go as well thus causing the video to become ‘pixely’ although the video still captures the quickness and intensity of the storm.
