Sorry for the long delay. Yet another overnight event and this one was perhaps the most violent compilations on this channel since I joined the weather community. It went from a slight risk to an enhanced risk to a moderate risk all within 24 hours. That's how fast things were ramping up. And boy did it deliver. We had not one but two derechos blow through overnight and Wayne and Holmes Counties got the worst of it. It was so bad that there was a state of emergency for Wayne County due to excessive damage. And it's not very often for me to hear our local news say "Particularly Dangerous Situation." Thankfully, no one was hurt. In this compilation, a total of 49 alerts were issued and I recorded 20 (should've been 21). Here is a recap of alerts in this event: 22 SVRs (recorded 15, 2 were PDS) 2 TORs (failed to relay) 5 FFWS (recorded 2, one I missed cuz I was sleeping) 2 SMWs (recorded 1) 3 SVAs (recorded 2) 11 SPSs (x) 4 Flood Advisories (x) Note: No copyright infringement is intended here.
