FROM MY NOTES: THE ADVENT PART III THE ADVENT occurred in the Fullness of TIME. JESUS came in THE FULLNESS OF TIME. Galatians 4:4 (NKJV) But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law Gálatas 4:4 Mas, quando chegou a plenitude do tempo, Deus enviou seu Filho, nascido de mulher, nascido debaixo da Lei,..” What is meant by “the fullness of time” (a plentitude do tempo)? Matthew 11:2-6 NIV [2] When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples [3] to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” [4] Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: [5] The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. [6] Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” Isaiah 35:3-6 NIV [3] Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; [4] say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” [5] Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. [6] Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. When we call out to GOD, THE LORD responds at THE PROPER TIME! The enemy tried to destroy the plans of God by going after Jesus during his childhood. BUT GOD had better plans. God’s plans will not be stopped. In the morning the enemy may try to disrupt your day but GOD has better plans for you… CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD!!! Gen 4:26b (NKJV) “…Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.” WHEN WE CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD… JESUS SHOWS UP FOR OUR DEFENSE!!! Psalm 27:1,4-5 Psalm 27:6-8,13-14 Hebrews 1:1-4 God speaks to us through the Son.. “Today I have begotten you," Hebrews 1:5-6 NKJV Hebreus 1:5 Pois a qual dos anjos Deus alguma vez disse: “Tu és meu Filho; eu hoje te gerei”? For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God…” CONCLUSION: JESUS the SON of GOD, born of a Virgin, His origins are from EVERLASTING to EVERLASTING, He is the only BEGOTTON of the FATHER- EL ELYON-GOD MOST HIGH. JESUS came into the world at THE FULLNESS of time, not a day sooner, not a day later but at the APPOINTED TIME in the PROPER TIME determined by the FATHER. He will again return at THE APPOINTED TIME determined by THE FATHER. LIKEWISE: Jesus comes into our lives at the right time, not a day later not a day sooner, HE is our present HOPE in our time of NEED. JESUS is the PRINCE of PEACE. OUR SHALOAM, OUR PEACE… TRUST in THE FATHER, TRUST ALSO IN THE SON- JESUS the CHRIST. THE PEOPLE WALKING IN DARKNESS HAVE SEEN A GREAT LIGHT. FOR TO US A CHILD IS BORN, TO US A SON IS GIVEN PRAYER: LORD I NEED YOU NOW LORD I THANK YOU FOR COMING INTO MY LIFE LORD GOD YOU WERE PRESENT AT MY MOMENT OF NEED, AT THE PROPER TIME IN MY LIFE….
