Deion Sanders Was Broken And Humbled! Do You Believe That? #deionsanders #coachprime #coloradofootball I love what Deion Sanders just said. First and foremost, he thanked and acknowledged God and then he acknowledged that Oregon gave the Buffs an old fashion, out behind the woodshed butt whooping. He owned it. Period. I saw so many people saying Deion was humbled or that he needed to show humility. I'm not sure if most people know what humility actually means. Let me help you out. If that's what you're looking for in a football coach, you are barking up the wrong tree. I don't want my coaches "humbled" And I don't want my players "humbled". There's a HUGE difference between being beat and being humbled. My coaches and players turn around and work to get better. A "humbled" person as the definition says, is someone who has had their will and pride destroyed A "humbled" person is a submissive person. I know in this age when it's comfortable to denigrate MEN as having toxic masculinity Today's society wants me to be less tough. Less assertive. Less aggressive. Less proud. Less dominant. You know…more humble! You can take your quest for humility and toxic masculinity nonsense and stick it where the sun don't shine. This is FOOTBALL. It's one of the last places where men can be men. If you're looking for humility…don't watch football. No one on any football team in the country, not even my grandson's JV team, suits up for a game not thinking they are going to win. No player in any locker room thinks to themselves before they run out on the field how humble can I be today. Winners simply don't think that way. Pop Quiz… What do Coach Prime Dabo sweeney Marcus Freeman & Nick saban Have in common? They are all winning coaches that have lost this year. In fact Dabo already has 2 losses. Stop looking at it for more than it is…they got beat. It's part of the game. There was no message sent. What happens now? You dust off and work harder. And that goes for the coaches AND the players PERIOD Our society is in a very bad state. Maybe it's social media. Maybe it's that our government has fallen apart But I've never seen so many people openly desire to see good men lose. I've never seen so many people vehemently curse success So many people are angry. So many people lack ambition. So many people revile success. And all that tells me is that most people don't understand winners. There's not a winner out there that doesn't look at adversity as an opportunity. Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes lost yesterday. Actually they more than lost. They got stomped. They got embarassed. And people cheered that beatdown. They feel that Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders deserved that whooping. But 2 things will happen now that the Coach Prime got beat. People who despise him will continue to despise him. And secondly, he and his players will get back to work to pick up the pieces and fight on. That's the difference between winners and losers. Losers enjoy wallowing in the mud. Winners take a shower, and get back up…and keep at it. ONLY losers remain losers. Winners may lose but it doesn't define them. Winners don't remain stationary targets. Winners always seek to improve and believe what that improvement means. If you're a Christian you know this inherently. Do you know why in most Christian churches you don't see Jesus on the cross? Because in the world's biggest loss, they killed Jesus. They broke his bones. Many in The crowd cheered. And many celebrated his eventual, humiliating defeat. But what we are and will continue to be are men and women who Believe. And we all know what the future holds. Both spiritually and in what we do. Deion Sanders won a lot in his life. He is a super bowl winner. He was an All-Pro He's in the Hall of Fame Yet, many, many times he has lost. Without doing a LOT of research, I doubt that anyone can immediately tell me how many games he lost. But we all know he won Super Bowls. I said Super Bowls..as in plural We all know he was an all-pro. NINE times! We all know he's in the Hall of fame. We all know he played professional football AND professional baseball. Why do we all instantly know those things. Nick Saban, arguably the best college coach in the game is 274-67-1 Is he remembered for the 67 losses or the 7 National championships? Deion Sanders knows the sweet taste of winning and he has experienced the bitter sting of losing. All winners have. That's winning Is Deion Sanders, brash, arrogant cocky almost to the point of off-putting… ______________________________________________ How to contact Barry Cunningham ▶ Twitter: @barrycunningham ▶ Business Inquiries please text 954-804-9630 ▶Mailing Address: Barry Cunningham Fanfare Media 160 W.
