What? A lot of people have asked me to comment on the absurdity of what Jason Whitlock has been saying about Deion Sanders. I haven't made one as of yet as I was trying to figure out what the hell Jason Whitlock is doing. Despite what some have said, Jason Whitlock is quite successful. He's not a wannabee. His YouTube channel has a big audience and he's doing well. In the effort to have full disclosure, I have to say that I have been a fan of his for quite some time. We have some similarities…beyond that of our size. He's Black, and I'm Black. I'm a Christian and try to live by Christian values to the best of my ability. And politically, I'm a conservative. I consider myself to be a thinker. I'm a straight shooter…but I don't shoot from the him. I research. I speak with reason and aforethought. And for the life of me, I can't understand why Jason is attacking Coach Prime personally. And I really can't agree with questioning anyone's level of faith and calling them out because you don't believe one is Christian enough. While the Bible tells us not to sin, it doesn't preclude you from reaching heaven. The ticket is punched when you proclaim your faith and accept Jesus as lord. PERIOD…full stop But Jason Whitlock has gone WAY over the line. He is basically calling Deion Sanders a scam…a fraud…and there's not much worse than calling a man a fraud. Especially when it's merely an OPINION. I find it compelling how many people are taking shots at Coach Prime. He has definitely touched a nerve. He's not in the mold. But in contrast, everytime someone has taken a shot at him, he simply wishes them well. Listen to what he said about Jay Norwell despite Norwell's insults. And then yesterday, he came to the defense of the CSU player who laid the dirty hit on Travis Hunter. But this is the guy Whitlock has a problem with. Jason has hit Deion hard…let's breakdown a bit of what he has said. And if you haven't heard some of it, it's quite stinging. Unfortunately, Jason Whitlock has his sights set on Deion and has no intention on letting up I don't understand it. I don't condone it, and I find it WAY over the top.
