This "complete" edition seems to be a work in progress, now up to 21 discs with heaven knows how many to come. Grainger was an iconoclastic, certified loon, and his music remains some of the most original and "non-conformist" of the 20th century. Certainly no one made better folk-song arrangements--and arrange he did, over and over, for every conceivable combination of voices and instruments. The performances here are all first rate, but whether you'll want 21 discs of this stuff, even at a very favorable price, is very much a matter of personal taste.
