RULES OF THE RUN -Professional difficulty -No damage -No rocket launcher -No bonus items, accessories or charms Saddler goes down reasonably fast to the exclusive rifle. I don't see any other weapon doing better against, excluding the rocket launcher of course. It's a simple fight. Keep your distance and aim for the head. I did learn that the first time he lunges at you, he will always delay his follow-up attack. This means that you need to be running past him immediately in order to avoid the horribly annoying tracking on his stab attack. Not much else to say about him. Once he gets into the long stun animation for the second time, he should die to the knife prompt as long as you put in another rifle shot before initiating it. I am comfortable enough with the ending sequence that I don't feel a need to use that last typewriter. If you chose to skip any of the other saves, then you can put one down here if you really don't want to risk fighting Saddler again. Though if you used the rocket launcher against him then you would have even less reason than I do to save before this sequence. Anyway, it's nothing too difficult. The rifle will let you clean out a decent amount of enemies. The Blacktail, TMP and shotgun can all take care of the rest. You are definitely meant to use the grappling hook charm against the shield guy at the top of the stairs, but my parry method works fine enough. Then you just use the rifle to headshot the brutes. The part with the Novistadors can be rather dicey. If you are too slow, you run the risk of being hit pretty easily. Definitely be careful there. The last set of enemies before the elevator are dealt with using those heavy grenades I've been saving up. It makes it very easy to get through there, bypasses parasites, stuns the brute and so on. That's all there is to it. Obviously if you need to save even more time, then just try your best to run past all of the enemies and skip looting. This time is quite the shocker for me. 1 hour and 52 minutes. My best time before this run was 2 hours and 7 minutes. I had a similar surprising finishing time with my last uploaded S+ run of the main game too. I guess there is something about playing for the camera that causes me to speed things up. But as you can see, you can waste plenty of time and still get a sub 2 hour time. I'm very happy to have broken that threshold. Separate Ways as a whole is an substantially easier experience than the main game was as far as routing it out for S+. I had to do a lot of exhaustive research for the main game, but for this one it was enough to just play it a bunch of times. The only reason it took me so long to put it out was purely because of laziness. Anyhow, I hope that this run is of use to those of you trying to get this challenge done. I show off all of my chapter clear times and other statistics at the end of the video.
