Lena Lake - Olympic National Forest

This hike among old-growth giants takes you through the mossy forest over raging creeks to a sparkling lake viewed from a "lunch rock" high above. Further along the trail drops to the shoreline weaving through waterfront campsites. The birdsong in the area is so melodic. Wildflowers on this hike: Calypso Orchid (Fairy Slipper), Trillium & Avalance Lillies. This hike is very peaceful if you go in Spring or Fall but can be a very busy place during the summer.
