Lena Lake, Olympic Peninsula, Camping in Under 5 Minutes
On February 19th, 2023 I did a quick overnight at Lena Lake. I had hoped to go over to Upper Lena Lake but I wasn't prepared for the amount of snow in the stretch up there. Plus, i was feeling a bit lazy. So I looked around for a good spot to camp, finally settling on the spot I camped in a few years ago. It's a beautiful spot, particularly in the winter, as its quite accessible with a paved, maintained road to the trailhead, a well maintained trail and not hit too hard by snow in the winter. And you get the whole lake to yourself at night in the offseason. #Camping #Backpacking #TheCrankyVegan
