Can We Catch Rainbow Trout Using Bass Lures? Guadalupe River Trout Fishing

Its about that time of year where we bust out he ultralight gear. As temps drop, TPWD starts stocking the lower Guadalupe River, below Canyon Lake. Since the lake is so low, the river is only running at 60CFS. Fishing was great in deep slow moving water. I had most luck with the super duper, and rooster tail, while Bremen landed his biggest on a Rapala Shadrap in Fire Tiger. These trout are always super feisty and put up a great fight on ultralight.
