PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – This is a time-lapsed video, you can watch the full-length here:    • Learn How to Draw and Paint with Acrylics ...   Looking for an easy Christmas painting idea? Want to do a fun Holiday DIY project? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a Queen as she walks down a flight of ice stairs and projects ice glitters throughout her ice castle-a fun and easy winter seasonal painting “ICE QUEEN”. So, it’s been almost ten years since the epic Disney Frozen movie debuted in theaters around the world. Although I am a fan of Disney, I was not quite convinced to see the movie when it first came out, but, after all of the social media attention and hearing “Let it Go” a thousand times on the radio, I paid $12.00, bought an overpriced bag of popcorn and sat in a jam-packed movie theater and witnessed an instant classic being born. And, on a recent trip to Disney World, I can see that the Frozen fever has not died down at all with the long lines for the Frozen ride, the crowds scurrying around for Olaf scavenger hunt, the screams and shouts during the Frozen sing along, and all the families lying on blankets outdoors watching Frozen being projected on a big screen for movie night under the stars. With a great story and a great message too, I bought into the hype and I’m now a fan. So, join me and channel your inner child and your love for Disney, and paint this Elsa-inspired image of an Ice Queen, or Princess, and pay homage to one of the most celebrated Disney movies of the decade. The painting process is so simple to follow. You’ll first learn how to paint a background and atmospheric dimension using seasonal colors to capture the fantasy and majestic feel of cold ice, winter, snow, and anything frozen. Then you’ll learn how to paint a staircase for your chilly frozen empress to descend, using just a few colors and brushstrokes. Then after learning how to draw an outline for your female sovereign goddess, you’ll apply a simple basecoat to work off of. Then you’ll learn how to easily paint highlights and shadows on the clothing of your feminine monarch to give her body form, movement and depth creating a 3D effect so real it will look like it is flowing with the cool breeze. You’ll learn how to mix a skin tone and paint facial features giving your frozen girl ruler expression. Then you finish your painting by learning how to paint magical ice sparkles projecting from your powerful woman’s hands as she dances down the steps. The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 8 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping! IMAGE LINK FOR PRINTING: https://static1.squarespace.com/stati...
