UN committee passes human rights resolution calling for N. Korea′s referral to I

A UN General Assembly resolution drafted by the European Union and Japan to refer North Korea to the International Criminal Court for crime against humanity has been approved by a UN committee. That resolution calls on the Security Council to recommend Pyongyang to the ICC. This after the UN committee voted down a Cuban proposal... that would have essentially eliminated the leadership′s accountability for the regime′s rights abuses.
