Cleveland weather: Heat and severe weather expected tomorrow in Northeast Ohio!

Cleveland weather was hot today. And we stay toasty tomorrow too. Highs get a boost into the low-90s for Wednesday. Muggy conditions remain in the place too which means we will have a heat index value. So, it will indeed feel warmer outside than it truly is. Have a plan in place to beat the heat but also stay weather aware. While the majority of tomorrow will be dry, hot, and steamy, a cold front approaches the area tomorrow evening. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to bubble on up as this front moves on through. Some of these could be on the strong to severe side. The Storm Prediction Center currently has all of NE Ohio under a 'Slight Risk' (a level 2 out of 5) for severe weather tomorrow. When can we expect this activity to fire on up tomorrow? I think our best window is 4-11PM. Right now, our biggest threat on the table is strong/severe wind gusts as the front sweeps through. Lower tiered threats include hail, flash flooding from heavy downpours, and an isolated tornado. By Thursday, it's like none of the active weather we're anticipating for tomorrow evening even happened. Sunshine returns and temperatures drop to a seasonable level in the mid-80s. Yep, that's all the "cooling" this cold front will do for us. Humidity levels will still be relatively high as well. So, no major relief will be felt. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TONIGHT: Mainly clear, warm. Near 70. WEDNESDAY: Hot and steamy, showers and storms develop. Low 90s. THURSDAY: Few clouds, seasonable. Mid 80s. READ MORE: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/...
