This team consists of Giratina Altered Forme in the lead with Articuno and Shadow Lapras in the back. This is a team that we have featured on the channel since season 2, but with new XL Pokémon and move updates each season, it becomes harder and harder to find consistent wins with this team. In this video we put the team to the test against a meta dominated by XL Pokemon and a newly improved Walrein. Some of the biggest threats to this team are of course Obstagoon and Scrafty, both of which cause issues in the lead for Giratina and in the back for Lapras. Other Pokemon such as Alolan Ninetales or Walrein could also causes issues, making it difficult to navigate through. While this team is definitely not as strong as it once was, it still has play and in my opinion would have even more play during the first half of the season where a majority of the XL Pokemon prefer to play in the Ultra League Premier Cup.
