Firefighters make quick work of this house fire in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania

Monday evening, Catasauqua 2 and North Catasauqua 18 along with Medic 75 were sent to 335 Howertown Road for a house fire. Caller reported a fire on the second floor of the house. Ladder 18 arrived and reported smoke showing and signaled a working fire. Rescue 11 (Greenawalds) was dispatched as the designated F.A.S.T. company and Squirt 3 from Whitehall was special-called. Firefighters found a fire in the walls and ceiling of the 3-story duplex. Three lines were stretched, one dry and one wet in the main fire building and one dry in the side 4 exposure. Crews opened up the walls and ceilings checking for extension. The fire was quickly called under control.
