25 W Race St - Catasauqua, PA

Firefighters from the Catasauqua Fire Department were dispatched to a reported dwelling fire at 25 W Race St on July 4th. Chief officers arriving on scene found a working fire in the third floor of a three story apartment building and requested a second alarms. Engine 2 arrived on scene and made a quick attack with a blitz fire and then followed up with two attack lines for mop up. Crews were able to make a quick knock of the fire. Additional time was spent opening up and chasing some hot spots.
