Originally used for small kiddie coasters, Zierer built many of their small Tivoli roller coasters in the late 20th century. While most were small, there were a few large custom layouts such as Orange Streak at Nickelodeon Universe and Jaguar at Knott's Berry Farm. Tree Topper was the first roller coaster added to the Leafy Lake Campground in 1996, the small ride's success amongst guests sparked an expansion from a few flat rides, to a full fledged amusement park. In early 2001, the park was purchased by the Bumbly Beach Corporation.
