Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Delbert McClinton song "Every Time I Roll the Dice" from his 1992 album "Never Been Rocked Enough". The bass player on this track was James "Hutch" Hutchinson. You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Beginner Lesson Plan. This is song takes me back to the 90's when I used to play in bar/pub bands. Good times :) I like how he anticipates the upcoming chord in some spots. I think it keeps it light and makes it "float" and more danceable. I found using the open D some times can give you just a quick little break and makes for a smooth transition into the D chord. There's a movement of a 4th that happens a lot (Bb to F, F to C). This might be a tricky for some at first, but take it slow and really look closely at what your hands and fingers need to do to make it happen. Being able to play the interval of a 4th smoothly is important. I tried to lay back a bit and hold onto the notes. Play over the front pick-up and get a big, full sound. I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching :) -------------- If you appreciate what I do and or find it helpful, I hope you might consider supporting me through the following: GregsTranscripts - https://www.gregstranscripts.com/ Muzento - https://www.muzento.com Patreon - / gregfairweather or you can make a donation through PayPal at - http://bit.do/Much-appreciated ------------------- Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
