Lithuania-US Gas Deal: Baltic states step away from dependency on Russian gas deliveries

Lithuania will buy liquefied natural gas from the United States under a new non-binding trade agreement. It’s the latest step away from the region’s dependency on Russian gas deliveries. Lithuania’s state-owned Litgas said that the first delivery of LNG fuel is expected to arrive in the Baltics in the coming months.
