ALBANY -- A 13-year-old Albany girl was hospitalized Monday morning after crashing a stolen car into a home. Albany Police say the girl, who is not being identified due to her age, stole the keys to the vehicle out of an unlocked locker at the Albany YMCA on North Pearl Street.Police say the teen drove less than a block before losing control and crashing into 28 Lawn Avenue. It is unknown if the girl will face any charges. She was treated for minor facial injuries at Albany Memorial. According to a YMCA spokesperson the girl has a membership at the YMCA through an employee.This is the second car stolen from the YMCA in less than 24 hours. Officials are looking at surveillance video to determine if the car stolen on Sunday night was taken from the same girl.
