Cycling the Blue Edge: A 40-minute film about two Swedish childhood friends celebrating their birthdays by biking the Pacific coast in Northern California, mainly Highway 1 and Route 101, from the Oregon border to San Francisco. We follow the dramatic coastline but also pass through redwoods forests including Avenue of the Giants and finish by crossing the Golden Gate bridge on a sunny day. 9 nine days, 700+ km, and 8000+ meters of elevation gain. Overnight stops: Crescent City - Elk Prairie - Eureka - Miranda - Leggett - Fort Bragg - Gualala - Bodega Bay - Woodacre - San Francisco. Filmed with an Insta360 X2 and iPhones.
