On August 23rd 2022, I took a one-way flight from San Francisco, California to Vancouver, Canada, with my bike packed in a box, to embark on a journey I had been dreaming about for years: a self-supported and solo bicycle ride from Canada to Mexico. I was incredibly nervous, anxious and honestly unsure if I’d be able to complete it, but one thing I was sure of - I was going to give it my best. Exactly two months later, on October 23rd, I reached the border crossing at Tijuana, Mexico, and what an amazing and fulfilling adventure it was! This is the Oregon leg of my journey.
