Nier Replicant Ver.1.22 - Hook & Kaine (Hard Difficulty) - Second boss Guide in 4K60p

This video shows how to beat the second boss of the new game Nier Replicant Ver. 1.22 - Kaine and Hook on Hard difficulty. Strategy/Tips - Starting with Kaine - 1) She blocks a lot so wait for her to attack and either parry (preferred) or dodge to get on her back side and hit her. 2) Look out for her rush attacks. They hurt quite a bit. Also, both of these bosses come one after the other so use your healing wisely. 3) When she enrages, she also starts using magic. Just be sure to dodge her range magic attacks and you should be good. Hook 1) In phase 1, just focus on his foot and be ready to jump whenever he is about to slam it down. Pretty much rinse and repeat till phase 2 2) In Phase 2, he will do a chain of 6-7 seismic wave attacks by stomping both his feet. Either keep jumping or just outrange it. Both ways work. If you outrange is, rush back to land a few hits. After the waves, just just crawls his way back up and releases a few shade balls. Kill them asap. It is possible to kill them before they release any of the blood things. Repeat this till you manage to kill of his second foot. 3) In phase 3, the boss will do 6-7 waves followed by 3 red balls range attacks. The best time to attack him is when you dodge the red balls. You get like 2 seconds of free hitting. Repeat and you kill off the boss! PS - Try to save mana for some big hits when he is about to go down otherwise you might have to do these phases 2 times each.
