Today, we're going to take a look at the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-way Flat Trailer Connector for your factory tow package. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2017 Cadillac XT5 and the Cadillac 2017 GMC Acadia vehicles. Now, on a custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle, and it will show you if this will work for your application. Now, this harness will provide this 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal light. It is designed for use with the factory tow package, and it is compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters that we sell separately. This does connect very quickly and easily. There's no cutting or splicing of wires. Basically, you'll just locate the connection point, which is behind the center of the rear bumper on the vehicle. It'll match this 4-pin connector right here. Just go ahead and plug that in. Then run your 4-way out the back, ready to plug into your trailer. It does come with this nice dust cap for your 4-way connector. Basically, what you can do with that is just attach it to the 4-way plug. When you're not plugged into the trailer, just put that over the terminals and it protects them from any damage or from the elements. It also comes with some extra cable ties to take up any slack in the wiring and even a nice set of detailed instructions that will describe with pictures how to install everything. This part is made in the USA. A few specs on this harness. The maximum amperage for the stop and turn light circuits is 7.5 amps per circuit, and for the taillight circuit is 7.5 amps.
